Short Biography

He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Crete, and his PhD on Internet security from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
Since 2007, He is an Professor of Informatics Dep., Alexander TEI Thessaloniki, – Greece. He has taught information systems security, Internet technology and services and IOT apps.
His research interests include the areas of Internet technology and security, IOT and smart cities, cloud and big data security and smart e-learning apps. He has been working on several EU research projects on security area, and He has been author of a variety research articles in international journals and conferences.
